Maria Westmoreland is a newly licensed Texas REALTOR® serving Amarillo and surrounding communities, specializing in land investments, small country homes, and acreages. Originally from the vibrant central Texas city of Waco, with nearly 140,000 residents, Maria and her family have embraced a small-town lifestyle in Wildorado, TX. Fluent in Spanish, Maria is also ready to assist Spanish-speaking clients with their real estate needs.
Maria and her husband, who met while studying criminal justice in college, are proud to now call Wildorado home. She holds two associate degrees—one in criminal justice from Hill College and another in paralegal studies from ITT Technical Institute. Her diverse background includes substitute teaching across all grade levels, coaching youth sports, and working as support staff in a couple of schools.
Recently achieving her goal of becoming a licensed REALTOR®, Maria joined United Country Real Estate | Caprock Properties & Auction. She’s an active member of the Amarillo Association of REALTORS®, Texas Association of REALTORS®, and National Association of REALTORS®.
In her free time, Maria enjoys photography, running, attending sports events, and cheering on the Baylor Bears. She and her husband, an engineer with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, have a large family with nine older children, while their two youngest, Daylon and Xoe, are in elementary school. The Westmoreland family is excited to be part of the welcoming Wildorado community and looks forward to this new chapter in the Texas Panhandle.
