Amarillo, Texas-based United Country Real Estate | Caprock Properties & Auction specializes in farms and ranches, horse properties, all types of land, and homes for sale within the Texas Panhandle Plains and parts of New Mexico, just across the border.
In Northwest Texas, our office primarily serves all of Potter County (where we’re located in Amarillo), along with neighboring Hartley, Oldham, Deaf Smith and Randall counties, as well as other surrounding locations now and then. From Amarillo to Bushland; up in Channing; back down to Vega, Adrian or Hereford; over in Canyon and elsewhere … we’re ready and available to meet your real estate needs. And in Eastern New Mexico, you can find us serving clients in Quay, Union and Harding counties. This includes popular areas such as Tucumcari, Logan, Clayton, Mosquero and Roy.
Here along the high plains of the Texas Panhandle, the terrain ranges from flat grassy land, to rugged red canyons and rocky cliffs. Palo Duro Canyon near Amarillo holds title as America’s second-largest canyon, and is part of an amazing namesake state park. There are also colorful local restaurants, niche museums and art installations, all perfectly capturing the region’s identity and history.
The majority of the locations we serve are within the “Llano Estacado,” or “Staked Plains” in English, a region covering a lot of Northwest Texas and Eastern New Mexico. While most of what’s known as the “Caprock Escarpment” – a 200-mile geological feature in Texas – is located just southeast of our core area, the name Caprock is often used to refer to the entire Llano Estacado (besides being part of our brokerage’s name). The region is big on agriculture, with grains and row crops dominating farming, while working cattle and horse ranches also drive much of the economy in this largely rural part of Texas. Wide-open spaces, stunning sunsets and a reverence for western cowboy culture are what you can expect here.
The dedicated property professionals at United Country Real Estate | Caprock Properties & Auction rely on a powerful combination of local expertise and national marketing as we serve our clients. When it comes specifically to lifestyle and rural real estate, we have a better grasp than the competition in our Northwest Texas and Northeast New Mexico markets. And as a brokerage in the United Country Real Estate network, we can easily reach prospective property buyers locally, regionally and nationally.
You might be looking to sell 100 acres of residential or commercial development land in Amarillo; a horse farm with grassland, creeks and canyon views in Randall County; or a serene recreational retreat along Texas’ Canadian River. Then again, maybe your property is a residential home near New Mexico’s Lake Ute in Quay County. We’ll give your listing wide exposure through varied marketing and advertising efforts targeted to the most interested buyers.
And if you’re a buyer, options and variety are important as you search for a property that fits your goals and lifestyle. Our dedicated brokers and agents can help you find a 1,000-acre Clayton, NM, cattle ranch with solar and wind energy features; buildable land in Potter County, TX; or farmland for crops and livestock grazing in Hartley County. No matter your preference, we can assist with all of it.
We take pride in the areas our real estate brokerage serves on the Texas Panhandle Plains and in neighboring Eastern New Mexico, and we’d love to help you secure a profitable offer or locate your dream property with ease. Call or email us today to start discovering the possibilities.
